The GREAT BIG CRUNCH was a GREAT BIG SUCCESS! The whole school was involved, kindergarten to grade 6. We gathered outdoors at 2:30 and sunk our teeth into tasty apples. Mmm, mmm, good! The GREAT BIG CRUNCH came with a GREAT BIG SURPRISE! A photographer came to take pictures... with a DRONE! Thanks Jeremy. Everyone was super excited to see the drone circling above.
The GREAT BIG CRUNCH was a GREAT BIG REMINDER about the importance of healthy snacks. But that's not all. We were also realize that this snack was completely waste-free. There were no wrappers to throw out. Instead, we tossed our apple cores into Jackman's Garden Compost. Apples are good for you and good for the environment.
