At Jackman, many classes have been learning about Sweden's young eco hero - Greta Thunberg. We have been inspired by her speeches, inspired by her actions, inspired by her commitment to the environment. She is boldly tackling the issue of climate change.
On Friday last week, many students and families joined the Global School Strike at Queens Park in Toronto.
And the rest of us... we got involved right here at school. We made posters and marched around the school block. We also used sidewalk chalk in the schoolyard to share our eco messages. It was a great day of eco action at Jackman.
